How to become a better Bingo player?

I’ve been trying for years to refine my Bingo skills but nothing seems to work. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to become a more effective player? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First, find several items around the house you deem lucky. This could include troll dolls, old undies, shamrocks, etc. Second, get a bunch of bingo cards and recruit orphan children to help you mark them. Only then will you be successful.

For online bingo, you can increase your chances of winning when you purchase more cards and use the auto-daub and auto-bingo function this helps a lot when you play multiple cards specially if there are multiple winning patterns.

I dont agree with one of the other people who have answered your question by saying “buy more bingo cards” – that’s not morally correct in my opinion. Whilst buying more does increase your chances of course, it doesnt necessarily mean you are a winner!

I think with bingo being a game of chance there are no real suggestions as to how you become a more effective player – it’s not like poker that has an element of skill, it’s all a game of chance.

You could avoid picking tickets with lucky numbers on; this will actually minimise your chances of winning because, for example, if you choose all cards with the number seven on, if the number seven doesnt get called in the game, you arent going to win.

I found this useful web page for online bingo tips – if you play in the halls, I suppose it’s as relevant there too

I would love to know exactly what this means. Do you sit with a dauber in your hand and practice making marks on a piece of paper? Do you ever miss???

You said, “nothing seems to work”. Of course nothing seems to work. That’s because there is NO SKILL involved in Bingo.

My Nana played Bingo up to a week or two before she finally died. It really kept her going. I’m not knocking the game. Some folks LOVE it, and it sounds like you might be one of those people. Keep enjoying the game, but don’t expect to ever make money from Bingo. You’ll get your lucky days just like anyone else, but if you’re not playing just because you enjoy the company of your friends in the Bingo hall, then you shouldn’t be wasting your money.

HAVE FUN! There is no such thing as refining Bingo skills. (Unless you actually DO miss the sheet when you go to dab the number!)

***By the way – the only exception would be if you’re trying to be one of those players that plays like 50 cards at a time. In that case, you would need to practice daubing all those tickets in a short period of time. Somehow I don’t think this is what you’re talking about.
